Product Information

The AQUA M20 Autonomous Bathymetric Survey USV is a high-performance autonomous surface vehicle designed for professional bathymetric, hydrographic, and marine survey applications. Built with a nano carbon fiber polymer hull and modular payload bay, the M20 supports a wide range of advanced sensors such as ADCP, multi-beam echo sounders, side scan sonar, sub-bottom profilers, and water quality sensors. It makes it ideal for complex underwater survey missions.

Equipped with dual GNSS antennas, integrated IMU, and real-time RTK positioning, the M20 delivers centimeter-level accuracy even in challenging marine environments. It also includes a dual-propulsion system, automatic cruise and return-to-home capabilities, and is resistant to Category 3 winds and Category 2 waves, with IP67 water resistance.

With up to 7 hours of autonomous operation, real-time video communication, 4G telemetry, and a remote control range of up to 2.5 km, the M20 USV is a complete, field-ready solution for river mapping, dredging surveys, hydrology analysis, and coastal monitoring projects, where high precision and full autonomy are required.

Q1: Can the M20 mount ADCP or multibeam payloads?

A1: Yes. The moon pool supports ADCP, sub-bottom profiler, side scan, multibeam, and dual-frequency echo sounders.

Q2: How are RTK corrections delivered offshore?

A2: Via 4G telecom and a radio datalink to a base station; dual GNSS antennas provide heading for auto-pilot.

Q3: What runtime should I plan for typical bathymetry lines?

A3: About 5.5 hours at 2 m/s with the standard 33V 50Ah battery.

Q4: What water conditions is it rated for?

A4: Resistant to Beaufort Category 3 winds and Category 2 waves.

Q5: What’s the control range and interface?

A5: Up to 2.5 km using a 7.2-inch controller for route planning, live camera view, and telemetry.
