6-Inch Magnetic Mount for Faro Robotic Arms
This 6-inch magnetic mount provides a temporary mounting base for compatible portable measuring arms. It combines a steel mounting ring with a 3.5-inch-8-UNC-2A thread, a switchable magnet and a flat mounting surface.The base is positioned on a suitable flat surface and engaged using the magnet switch. Its stated 500 kg loading capacity supports stable instrument installation, while the supplied hex wrench is used for mounting operations.This mounting method supports metrology workflows where a measuring arm must be installed without a permanent fixture. It is intended for compatible Faro, Hexagon/Romer and Kreon measuring arms, subject to verification of the arm's mounting interface.The standard package contains one magnetic base, one 3.5-inch thread mounting wrench and a secured plastic box.
