South SPL Pro Series 3D Laser Scanner (Real-Time Registration)
The South SPL Pro series are terrestrial 3D laser scanners for survey, construction and industrial work, offered in four ranges: 180 m, 370 m, 620 m and 1500 m. All scan at up to 2,000,000 points per second over 360° x 300°, and the SPL-1500 Pro reaches 3 mm relative accuracy at 100 m. On-site real-time registration, a ±15° dual-axis compensator, built-in GNSS and compass and dual 12.3 MP cameras speed up field work. AcuteLAS Studio standard version is included. Benefits Pick the range you need: 180, 370, 620 or 1500 m. Register scans on site and see gaps before you leave. Scan in about 16 seconds at the fastest setting. 4 to 4.5 hours per battery, or run from external DC power. Applications Topographic and as-built surveys Building facades and BIM Industrial plants and tunnels Mining, open pits and stockpiles Power line and infrastructure inspection

Overview
The South SPL Pro series is South's AcuteLas line of terrestrial laser scanners with real-time registration. All four models use pulsed scanning with a 1550 nm, Class 1 eye-safe laser, scan up to 2,000,000 points per second across 360° horizontal and 300° vertical, and hold 0.001° angular accuracy. You choose the model by range: 180 m, 370 m, 620 m or 1500 m.
Relative accuracy is 3 mm at 100 m on the SPL-1500 Pro and 5 mm at 100 m on the other models. A fastest scan takes about 16 seconds, or 41 seconds with images. Two built-in 12.3 MP cameras capture 8 directions per round for color, and the onboard sensors (±15° dual-axis compensator, barometric height sensor, compass and GPS L1 plus BeiDou B1) record position and orientation with every scan.
You control the scanner from its 5-inch touch screen or from a tablet over WLAN with AcuteLas Onsite, and scans can be registered on site in real time. Data is stored on a 256 GB USB 3.0 flash drive and pre-processed in AcuteLAS Studio, which is included in its standard version. The scanner weighs 5.3 kg with battery, and each 98 Wh battery runs 4 to 4.5 hours.
When the SPL Pro is not the right choice: for fast walk-through scanning of interiors, basements or plant rooms, a handheld SLAM scanner such as the South KOOL captures more area per hour at 1 cm relative accuracy. For aerial mapping of large terrain, a drone LiDAR such as the SA130 mini or SG130 is the faster tool.

FJD Trion T1 – Hybrid Mobile and Terrestrial LiDAR Scanner, 640,000 pts/s
The FJD Trion T1 is a hybrid LiDAR scanner that combines mobile and terrestrial scanning in one device. Move through large sites in Mobile Mode for complete coverage, then switch to Terrestrial (tripod) Mode where higher local accuracy matters. One scanner covers the whole project. In Mobile Mode, T1 scans from 0.5 to 120 m with ≤ 1 cm relative accuracy. In Tripod Mode, it reaches 4 mm @ 10 m and 8 mm @ 30 m relative accuracy over a 0.5 to 60 m range. The LiDAR captures 640,000 points per second with a 360° × 270° field of view, and 48 MP cameras provide 360° panoramic imagery for true-to-scene colorization, viewable in real time in 2D or 3D.Integrated GNSS (BDS, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS) delivers RTK accuracy of 8 mm + 1 ppm horizontal and 15 mm + 1 ppm vertical, with PPK support for georeferenced results.T1 offers 3.5 hours of battery life with dual handles, IP54 protection and 512 GB storage (expandable to 1 TB). The main unit weighs 1.645 kg (2.23 kg full setup). Benefits Switch between fast mobile coverage and precise tripod scanning in one workflow. Capture up to 640,000 points per second with a 360° × 270° field of view. Colorize point clouds with 48 MP panoramic imagery. Georeference data with integrated RTK GNSS and PPK.
