South G7Q GNSS Receiver
The South G7Q is a miniaturized RTK GNSS receiver and the successor to the South G7. It tracks all major constellations on 1598 channels, measures 8 mm + 1 ppm horizontal in RTK and corrects pole tilt up to 60° with its IMU. At 907 g with battery, it has an internal 2 W UHF radio for base and rover work, Wi-Fi, and up to 15 hours per charge as a Bluetooth rover. Benefits Measure corners and walls without leveling the pole, up to 60° tilt. Fixes in 2 to 8 seconds for fast point-to-point work. One receiver for rover and base thanks to the 2 W UHF radio. 907 g on the pole, IP67 and a 2 m drop rating. Applications Topographic surveys Construction stakeout Boundary and cadastral work Road and utility surveys Base station for RTK crews

Overview
The South G7Q is South's new compact RTK receiver, built in a magnesium-aluminum housing of 135 x 135 x 83 mm and 907 g with the battery. It tracks GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou-2 and BeiDou-3, Galileo, QZSS and more on 1598 channels, and supports L-Band corrections through BDS-PPP and Galileo HAS.
In RTK it measures 8 mm + 1 ppm horizontal and 15 mm + 1 ppm vertical, with initialization in 2 to 8 seconds and better than 99.99% reliability. Static work reaches 2.5 mm + 0.1 ppm horizontal on long sessions. The IMU corrects pole tilt from 0 to 60°, with typical added uncertainty under 10 mm + 0.7 mm/° up to 30°, so you can measure corners and obstructed points without leveling the bubble.
The internal 2 W UHF radio both transmits and receives, so the same receiver works as a base or a rover. Wi-Fi works as a hotspot and data link, and the receiver stores data on 4 GB of internal memory, expandable to 64 GB, at up to 20 Hz. The built-in 6800 mAh battery runs about 15 hours as a Bluetooth rover, and the receiver can also run from 6 to 28 V DC. It is rated IP67, survives a 2 m drop onto concrete and works from -40 °C to +65 °C.
When the G7Q is not the right choice: if you want to measure points you cannot reach with the pole, the South INNO8 Pro adds a laser for contactless measurement and cameras for AR stakeout. For a permanent base or CORS setup, look at South's dedicated base station, the Starbase.

FJD Trion V100F – GNSS and LiDAR Fusion Surveying System
The FJD Trion V100F combines GNSS surveying, 3D LiDAR scanning, cameras and IMU in one device. It supports continuous data capture in open, obstructed and GNSS-limited environments, helping surveyors capture points, lines, surfaces and volumes more efficiently on road, bridge, tunnel, mining and other complex engineering projects.SureFix keeps pole-based measurement going as you move from open sky into nearby GNSS-limited areas, with a typical accuracy of ±5 cm within a 20 m radius. For safer non-contact measurement, select targets from captured images for LiDAR-based coordinate measurement within 20 m (±5 cm typical), measuring trench edges, wall corners, areas beneath bridges and slope boundaries without approaching them.Scan tunnels, culverts and slopes for cross-sections and volumes in a single pass, and get stockpile and earthwork volume results directly in the field with FJD Trion Survey. Point clouds, measurements and analysis are then processed in FJD Trion Model. Benefits GNSS, LiDAR, cameras and IMU in one field instrument. Keep measuring in GNSS-limited areas with SureFix (±5 cm typical within 20 m). Measure hazardous or hard-to-reach points without contact. Get cross-sections and volumes on site with FJD Trion Survey. Applications Road engineering Bridges and viaducts Tunnels and underground mining Mining and earthworks Urban canyons Utility trenches
